Warrant Article 19 is divisive and is bad for Brookline. It isn't going to change policy.

Message: Dear Town Meeting Members,
I am a Brookline voter in your precinct. I'm writing to urge you to vote against Warrant Article 19.
I believe this proposal flattens an incredibly complex topic in such a way that it creates extreme distortion and unfairness. Additionally, debating a contentious geopolitical topic unnecessarily increases animosity, stress, and division within our community and in our public schools.
This warrant article has already created hostility and pain, and divided members of our community with strong opinions on either side. It has done a tremendous amount of damage and, in reality, will not do any good.
Foreign policy does not belong at Town Meeting.
Thank you for your hard work and dedication to the betterment of our Brookline community.
Thank you,
